Our Story.
The story began when co-founders Sama—Carlos Samamé and Jalaj Jain —met via the UK Tech Nation Global Talent Visa. Prior to this, Carlos, along with a team of other founders, established the tech startup BoxyHQ, while Jalaj, working with a team of medical doctors, launched the medical AI startup imera.ai. Their paths eventually converged to Misti AI."
Carlos Samamé, CEO and tech entrepreneur, with two ventures acquired including BoxyHQ (by Ory Corp) and Lava (by a private investor). He has deep experience in B2B software and cloud services and is now fully focused on applying AI and automation to the mining industry.
Jalaj Jain, CTO with deep expertise in computer vision and safety-critical systems. Previously, He co-founded IMERA.AI to develop medical imaging AI for healthcare and has led R&D teams at Samsung and Sanyo. He now focuses on building robust, safety-first AI solutions for the mining industry.
